Zine Vending Machine for Tauranga Zine Festival

This design took inspiration from the medium on which it is painted – a mechanical object. Composed in my signature geometric abstract style, the elements within this composition all link and connect with one another, to create a dynamic ‘Rube Goldberg’ style of interconnectivity. Viewers can follow the geometry around the dimensions of the machine and read the work as a mechanical narrative. The bold colour palette is selected to draw viewers in and exude energetic fun and joy.
